Tiny Dancer captures a Sumatran elephant in one of her happiest rituals — cooling off in the clear, emerald waters of Tangkahan. Shot in the heart of North Sumatra’s rainforest, this moment reveals her playful side as she splashes, rolls and lifts her trunk toward the light filtering through the canopy.
There’s a softness in the scene ~ the misty air, the diffused sunlight, the gentle ripples ~ contrasted by the incredible texture of her skin, shaped by decades of roaming the forest.
