‘Apollo’ ~ Messenger from the Deep

Named after the iconic spacecraft, Apollo captures an ethereal jellyfish adrift in the vast darkness of the ocean ~ its translucent form glowing like something not of this world. Suspended in black water, its delicate anatomy and luminous trails evoke the feeling of deep space, blurring the line between science fiction and the natural world.

This striking image draws parallels between the unexplored frontiers of the cosmos and the mysterious depths of our own planet. Like the Apollo missions that ventured beyond Earth, this jellyfish drifts through an alien realm ~ silent, weightless and unknowable. Apollo invites the viewer to contemplate the deep sea as a final frontier, rich with life forms as strange and beautiful as anything found among the stars.
